RNV (Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH) is a company operating public transport in the Rhine-Neckar region, including the cities of Heidelberg, Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. The company was established on 1 October 2004 as a joint subsidiary of the five public transport operators that had previously operated in the region:
- the operator of trams and buses in Mannheim MVV (MVV Verkehr AG,);
- the operator of municipal public transport in Ludwigshafen VBL (Verkehrsbetriebe Ludwigshafen GmbH);
- the Heidelberg tramway operator HSB (Heidelberger Straßen- und Bergbahn AG, HSB);
- the Upper Rhine Railway Company OEG (Oberrheinische Eisenbahn AG) providing an interurban tramway service between the cities of Mannheim, Heidelberg and Weinheim;
- the Rhine-Haardt Railway RHB (Rhein-Haardt Bahn GmbH, RHB) providing the interurban service between Ludwigshafen and Bad Durkheim.
