RVZ-6M2 400.
In September 2002 this tram will disintegrate in a traffic accident with the truck in Solombala. Fleet number 400 will be re-assigned to car 367.

Left to right: LM-93 519; RVZ-6M2 377 [ex.324].
Car 377, formerly 324, is the oldest car on the property, delivered in 1978. Note, the 2nd oldest car in the city, 387 [ex.356], is as much as 5 years younger, delivered in 1983. Car 519 was just separated from 518, this was the last 2-car train set of St. Petersburg-built LM-93 cars to ever operate in the city. After a brief period of operating as single car, 519 will succumb to technical problems developed during years of working as a motor-trailer.

LM-93 509.
This regular motor car was used as a motor-trailer most of its life. LM-93 motor-trailers could be distinguished by odd fleet numbers, while lead cars had even numbers.

LM-93 523.
After a brief period of operation as single cars, all LM-93 previously used as motor-trailers, ended up parked at the Depot indefinitely, apparently overwhelmed by years of been pushed around as trailers.

LVS-86T 505.
Letter 'T' stands for the Russian word for 'thyristor'. Six cars of this type (500-505) were ordered by the city government for this northernmost tramway enterprise in the world, without asking the latter for technical expertise. As it happens, Russian thyrestor technology could only operate under temperatures higher that -25C, while in most cases winter temperatures in Arkhangelsk stayed well below that.
(Yaroslav Luchenetskiy, 13 May 2002)
11-16.
LVS-86T 501.
Four of this thyristor cars (500, 501, 504, 505) operated only for 2-3 years until 1995-1996, while car 502 lasted until 1999. Plans to re-built these thyristor cars into regular contactor cars never materialized. Five cars (500-502, 504, 505) were signed off the books on 23 June 2002 and scrapped. This photo was made one month after the sign off, while cars awaited scrapping.
(Aleksandr Morozov, July 2002)
11-17.
LVS-86T 503.
This car was the lonely survivor, and lasted in sporadic on-and-off operation until 10.2002. A common belief that this car survived because it was the only LVS-86T tram re-built from thyristor car into contactor one, is not true. It remained a thyrirstor car until the end, apparently striving on parts from other cars.

PB3-6M2 363+410.
A rare sigting of a tram pulling out through the western gate. 363 and 410 are the oldest and the newest RVZ-6M2 cars on the property at the time, operated together in one consists.
