Streetcar boat at the Downtown Excelsior Pier. The color scheme and the general appearance of the boat are similar to those of streetcars of its time. (11-June-2005, YM)
Welcome aboard! At the time of the visit rides were offered during weekends, mostly one ride a day. (11-June-2005, YM)
The streetcar boat is awaiting its scheduled departure. Seats on the boat are identical to streetcars, which gives the exterior an unmistakable streetcar-like feel. (11-June-2005, YM)

Operating this engine requires physical presence of a person (sometimes a several people) inside it. The diesel engine on this boat is not original, and dates back to World War II. (11-June-2005, YM)

During the visit in June 2005, it was discovered that the Minnehaha did not belong to the Minnesota Transportation Museum (MTM) anymore, and operated as part of the Museum of Lake Minnetonka (MLM). (11-June-2005, YM)
